Pest Control Ants

Carpenter Ants
This pest establishes nests in a number of different locations within any structure. They can produce 2,000 to 3,000 in a colony within a 6 year span. Carpenter ants are known to feed on kitchen foods, and there nesting activities can weaken building structures. They can be found in homes, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and nursing homes. They have one queen, and hibernate in winter.

Odorous House Ant
A common household pest throughout the United States. It is frequently confused with other ants. This ant gives off a very pungent and unpleasant odor when crushed. The nest can be located indoors and outdoors, and with many active queens. These ants may then range more widely for food, often causing them to enter homes.

Pavement Ants
Common household pests. This slow moving ant enters building in search of food, and sometimes is pushed inside due to extreme weather.

Pharaoh Ant
Nests are rarely found. They feed on diverse array of materials. This ant is very persistent and can be difficult to control. Pharaoh ant colonies may be very large with tens or hundreds of thousands of workers with many queens.
